How to give your locker a Scream Queens vibe

Since season 2 of Scream Queens is coming out on Sept 20!! I've decided to dedicate a blog post about it!
So we are all gonna go back to school. Some people may be looking forward to it but others maybe not so much! Today I am going to be writing about the 5 things you need to stylishly create a Scream Queens inspired locker!

1) Faux Fur Rug

You can just find some faux fur fabric around the house or you could ask a tailor if they have any left over faux fur that they won't mind if you use.
Just make sure it is FAUX fur. We DON'T want any dead animals in your locker.

2) Wallpaper

Is a cute and personal touch to a locker.
you can just print out paper and stick it inside your locker!
Here is some inspiration of what you could use :)

                                                                                             3) Mugs

Cute mugs that you can put stationary in is a must! You can dress up your locker with this cute idea using pastel or scream queens inspired mugs!

4) Pearls

Pearls are a supper cute shabby chic way to add a scream queens touch to your locker!

5) KKT sign

This is the perfect way to show how obsessed you are with scream queens! Just print one out and stick it on the inside of your locker door, to add a Kappa Kappa Tau touch!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post!

15 Top Tips For Surviving Exams Week

There is one way to sum up exams week... awful
Here are some ways to make things less awful and hopefully you will be able to survive these dreaded exams... Good luck!

1. The number one most important thing is to not pull an all-nighter
this will prevent you from remembering things the next day and tire you out!

2. Get sleep
If you have an exam later in the day take
short nap before revising, it will help loads trust me :)

3. Attend every single revision session that your teacher provides, and be sure to ask lots of questions at them

4. Organise a study group with a bunch of friends, so that you can test each other and learn from one another.

5. Create a study time table
I find that this helps alot and keeps you very organised with revision

6. Use highlighters to colour code everything
especially if you are a visual learner, this will help you remember things

7. Use the 50-15 rule where u study for 15 mins then take a 50 min break... I'm just kidding study for 50 mins then take a 15 min break!

8. Eat a lot but make sure its healthy! You are eating for your brain after all.

9. Use to-do lists to stay organised

10. Revise your notes daily! Even if you don't have that exam that day still just go over your revision notes at least once.

11. Have specific goals to meet for each study session

12. Create rhymes or acronyms for information you have to memories

13. Reward yourself with social media if you met your goals by the end of each study session

14. Avoid coffee! The caffeine can really mess up information in your brain not letting you revise as clear as possible.

15. Relax! Listen to relaxing music during your study breaks or take a bath so that you stay relaxed during your study sessions!

I hope you all do well in your exams! Good Luck!!!

Book Review: Girl Online On Tour

Storyline
Girl Online On Tour picks up straight after the first book. Penny Porter has given up her blog, and now is writing only privately for a few friends and one of her favourite photography teachers. She is the official girlfriend of a rising rock star Noah Flynn, who is going on a world tour as the opening for a boy-band called sketch. And Penny gets the opportunity to go with him. Penny’s parents are convinced that their daughter is ready to tour Europe with her boyfriend. Despite being on the road with a bunch of wild teenage boy band members, she doesn’t touch a drop of alcohol or get into any trouble. She is from Brighton and has the lovely life where her mother dances around the kitchen to Strictly Come Dancing with Penny’s gay best friend. But while on tour Penny and her boyfriend Noah face some challenging problems, when someone emails Penny threats that threaten their relationship making Penny choose between her best friend or her boyfriend.

My Thoughts
I found this book very interesting to read because having read the first book; I had more background information and more of a contextual knowledge and understood this book a lot more. So, in my opinion I think the second book is better because it has a larger climax and builds up suspension more gradually, making you unable to put the book down because you have to find out what happens next.

Zoe Sugg aka Zoella a YouTube and blogging sensation, wrote both books herself and it has become a major success as it is a bestselling book with millions of her YouTube subscribers supporting the books.

On a final note I do recommend this book if you are into chick flick movies or the blogging world.

The Cotton Ball Diet

Dangerous or not so Dangerous?

If you have seen the TV show scream queens you might have heard of the cotton ball diet.

So the cotton ball diet started with super models dipping cotton balls into orange juice. This makes them feel full without consuming any calories.
They dipped them in orange juice to make it taste better and to help it go down easily.

In scream queens (picture above) the Chanels (a sorority group) dipped cotton balls in a variety of sauces. This made the cotton ball diet become more and more popular.

So I bet you must be wondering: Isn't it dangerous to consume cotton balls? Do people really do it? Have people died from the cotton ball diet ? and Does it work? Well I'm going to try to answer these questions in this blog post. Comment down below if you have any other questions.

Is it dangerous to consume cotton balls?

The short answer is Yes, and here's the reason why...

Cotton balls aren't made of pure naturally grown cotton ( yes cotton comes from a plant)
Cotton is mixed with chemicals and bleach to form cotton balls. These chemicals can cause toxins to be released into your body and slowly intoxicate your blood.

Do people really do it?

have Yes, according to Eddie Murphy's 23 year old daughter, Bria Murphy, she admitted to seeing models eat cotton balls dipped in juice to stay skinny.

Have people died from the cotton ball diet?

Death caused by the cotton ball diet hasn't been on record, but apparently it is possible to die from there being complications from surgery to get rid of the cotton balls if they get stuck in your digestive system.

Does it work?

It does work in the sense that it makes you feel full without consuming calories. But it doesn't work in the sense that you will become happier and healthier if you go on this diet.
This diet is a dangerous way of loosing weight and I highly DON'T recommend it.

Mothers Day! Gift Ideas

So mothers day is coming up and you know what that means, you have to get the perfect gift!
So I'm here to help you with some easy gift ideas!! Hope you enjoy.

Candles are always a really good gift to get your mum. So try to find a nice scent that you think she will like! I know its hard to find a good scent for some one else on your own, so pair up with a sibling or a friend!

Bath bombs are also a good one so get a few she might like perhaps lavender or rosemary!

Cute and affordable mugs are also a nice gift. If you have trouble finding the perfect one then buy a white mug and use different coloured sharpies to get the perfect message onto a mug to give to your mother!

So my next gift idea is lipstick. Now you have to be really careful with this one because you want to get the right colour. If your mum is in her mid/late 40s and doesn't usually wear red lipstick then don't buy red, buy nude or plum and make sure that whatever colour you buy matches her age, skin tone & style!
If you have a mum that loves baking then the best thing to get her would be some cute yet affordable oven gloves!
Next is if you want to make something more personal then you could make a custom made organiser. That your mum can use for whatever they want, makeup, jewelry. Here is a tutorial on how to make a victoria's secret inspired makeup organiser!

My Year 8 Experience- Jay Part 3

So if you haven't read Jay Part 1 & 2 please feel free to. This is the last part of my story and probably the most awkward part. So here it goes.

Jay and I had been dating for about 2 weeks and then one day he said to me 'I want to kiss you'
For a 13 year old I was like WTF I started freaking out on the inside but smiling on the outside. My mind was asking me a million questions 'what if i do it wrong?', 'what if he is a really bad kisser?', 'what if after the kiss he doesn't like me?'

So then I just said 'no' and thought to myself 'I would kiss him tomorrow'.
He was totally fine with it and so I went home and watched as many kissing tutorials I could find on YouTube because I was so paranoid

Then the next day came by and at the end of the day I popped a breath mint into my mouth and took him around the back of school and KISSED HIM!!!!! Yes I kissed him it was a short one but not like a peck, like a sophisticated kiss for a 13 year old.

And so you have it, my My Year 8 Experience- Jay Part 1,2&3 I really hoped you enjoyed this little series. Please comment down below if you want me to tell you more of my year 8 experiences because I have a lot. Year 8 was an interesting year for me. So I have lots of stories to tell!

My Year 8 Experience- Jay Part 2

So if you haven't read Jay Part 1 then please do otherwise you may get confused with what happened next.
So the next day I walked into school as usual got a coffee put my bag in my home room and headed to the play ground to find my friends and then I saw Alex and Jay sitting on a bench and I thought it was so weird because they don't usually sit together or talk to each other.

So I just ignored them and went to find my friends. They were like 'Jay wants to see you' and I was like 'okay.'So then we went to the bench where Alex and Jay were and Alex gave me a rose and asked me out. I was like WTF because I really didn't see this coming. So I was freaking out so I just walked off with my friends and forgot about it ( kinda a big mistake). Then during home room Alex looked really upset, so I decided to talk to him, and just as I was about to talk to him Jay gave me a weird pep talk. He said that I shouldn't be with Alex and that I should just get with him. That is when I realised how jealous he was. For some stupid reason I decided to use this situation to my advantage AKA make him more jealous (so stupid).

So I told Alex that I would be his girlfriend (terrible decision). When I did Jay looked so upset but I thought that he actually deserved it because when we were together he was a rubbish boyfriend.
Then I ended up getting something in my eye and going to the infirmary. He followed me to the infirmary and stayed with me the whole time (which I thought was kind of sweet).

The next day he tried to kiss me in front of my dad; this was so wrong because:

1) We have only been dating for two days  (and I don't really kiss on the second day)
2) Please not in front of my dad

After that I wanted to end it but I thought I should still give him a chance.
So in English class I was supposed to be doing a presentation, which is usually fine because I don't mind speaking in front of people. But just before I was supposed to go up and speak, the palms of my hands went sweaty and I had this sudden rush of guilt build up because I felt like I really didn't want to be with him and that I should break up right now! Throughout my presentation I started to shake, stutter and my self esteem level went to 0.

So the next class was social studies and I wrote on a piece of paper 'Alex I want to break up with you' and I gave it to Alex. Then I wrote another note saying 'Jay I broke up with Alex'
As Jay read the note a smile spread across his face. His facial expression was so priceless, I still remember it today. Then I sent another note to him and asked 'What do u want 4 ur bday'
He seriously, I'm not even making this up (remember I only tell the truth on my blog) replied 'U'
I smiled.

It was time for double french (the worst subject ever). For the whole of french class (I'm not even kidding) Alex cried for the full two hours directly behind me. All his friends kept saying 'give him another chance' and 'why did you break up with him'. I felt kinda bad but every time I felt bad I remembered Jays smile. Then I told Jay that if he wanted to be my boyfriend then he would have to be a good boyfriend and not to randomly break up with me. So he agreed, on the 8th of May (his birthday ) we became official.

I hope you enjoyed Jay Part 2. Please stay tuned for Part 3- the kiss - that should be coming soon! :)

My Year 8 Experience- Jay Part 1

No, I'm not in year 8. In fact I'm currently in year 10 but these experiences still haunt me to this day.
Not that they were bad or paranormal or anything. Just that they are full of regret and things that I wish I could just do again just one more time so that I could make them right.
So I'm gonna start a series about things that happened in year 8. These stories are all completely true and are full of life lessons, love, hatred and all that juicy stuff so if you want to keep reading please do and hopefully every week I will tell another story.

* All names have been changed for safety reasons (and so that they can't ID themselves if they accidentally come across this story)

This is a story of love. Something I rarely had. Yea I dated quite a few people that year but there was only one guy I totally loved. Lets call this guy Jay.
So me and Jay were going out on and off for about 4 months. It was a really stupid relationship there would be times where he would ask me out and then by the next day he would break up with me.

This story is really confusing so I'm gonna break it down into 3 Parts:
Part 1- Richard's Birthday (the start of it all)
Part 2- Alex (I don't know why I did it)
Part 3- the kiss (jay)

So lets start with Part 1.
So it's Richard's birthday and some pretty weird situations happen at this party bare in mind that it will be Jay's birthday in 6 days which will be relevant information for Part 2.
Anyway the first thing that happend was me and Jay were on this like swing type thing and we were about to start a conversation which could have been really awkward but then Alex decided to sit on the bench and talk to me.
I was like WTF because he doesn't really talk to me all that much so I was kind of suspicious and Jay looked kinda annoyed but I was relieved because we didn't have to have a super awkward conversation ( I don't even know how we got on that swing in the first place)

But a weird thing that happened between me and Alex was that he sat really close to me and I kinda moved away abit and then he was like 'Do you really hate me that much' and I was like 'I don't hate you' so then he moved closer and it kinda freaked me, out by this time Jay had already left the swing thing. So then I got off it and went to sit down. Alex and I didn't really talk for the rest of the party.

Then Nathan came to the party fashionably late which upset his girlfriend at the time Jenna.
So Jenna didn't talk to him for most of the party but I did. Our friendship is a whole other story that I'm happy to share in another blogpost.

By the end of the party we settled down by the TV. By we I mean Nathan, Alex, Jay, Richard, Jenna.
Me and Jay sat together and it was kinda awkward since we weren't going out.
So this wasn't much of a story but what happened the next day will probably surprise you and it definitely surprised me and that story is full of jealousy it was the first time Jay was jealous.

So stay tuned for Part 2.

Travelling to the USA

I am extremely excited and privileged to be allowed to travel to the USA for the first time. This will also be the first time I fly without my parents. So I am terrified but at the same time happy! (If that made any sense) The first time I thought about flying on my own, one distinctive thought stuck to my head... HOW AM I GONNA PEE!!!!!
You might think it was a crazy question to ask my self. The thing is I have a really bad fear of airplane toilets and the flight was 11 hrs. I looked it up online and it states that it is dangerous for a women to hold her bladder for 6 hrs. So honestly I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm going to update my blog throughout this journey so please comment if you like this series. I'm leaving for the airport in 3 days and I still haven't packed!

Spring Room Decour + DIYs

When it comes to spring the first thing I want to do is reorganize my room and get creative.
I have recently thought about some super cute DIYs for your room.

Some simple things that can make you happy or make your day, is a quote plaque. I live by YOLO (you only live once) because it is true and motivational. So I stuck it on my door using sticky tack.

If you are obsessed with emojis like I am then you will love this one. Print out a bunch of your favourite emojis and stick them around your room or on your door. I stuck mine around my YOLO plaque.

One thing that comes in handy when you are trying to stay organised through out spring is a post-it note board. This is a place where you can write your goals, tasks, important dates and just simply creative ideas. Arrange post-it notes on the wall in a square or rectangle shape. Then add lables or write watever you want on it!

Lastly, I like to decourate my bedside table. I love making things colourful, so I put some coloured paper and some pretty books on it. I topped it off with some decourative bubble gum!!

The Wonders of Having a Sleepover With Me!

First of all watch this badly filmed & outrageously weird vlog then I'll explain....

Yes, It's upside down. Yes, I filmed it on my phone. And yes, It's hard to see what actually happened but I will explain.
First of all I lost my vlogging camera battery. No, I don't have a vlogging channel.
Anyway, I had a genius idea (note the sarcasm) to randomly do a daily vlog when I was at a sleepover with one of my friends.
We decided to paint our nails but we never got round to it because her little sister came in and threw a pillow at us but it hit the fan when doing so. So then I almost died of laughter.

Please excuse the weirdness and the randomness and lack of qualityness. (I don't think the last one was a real word but I'll go with it)
