The Cotton Ball Diet

Dangerous or not so Dangerous?

If you have seen the TV show scream queens you might have heard of the cotton ball diet.

So the cotton ball diet started with super models dipping cotton balls into orange juice. This makes them feel full without consuming any calories.
They dipped them in orange juice to make it taste better and to help it go down easily.

In scream queens (picture above) the Chanels (a sorority group) dipped cotton balls in a variety of sauces. This made the cotton ball diet become more and more popular.

So I bet you must be wondering: Isn't it dangerous to consume cotton balls? Do people really do it? Have people died from the cotton ball diet ? and Does it work? Well I'm going to try to answer these questions in this blog post. Comment down below if you have any other questions.

Is it dangerous to consume cotton balls?

The short answer is Yes, and here's the reason why...

Cotton balls aren't made of pure naturally grown cotton ( yes cotton comes from a plant)
Cotton is mixed with chemicals and bleach to form cotton balls. These chemicals can cause toxins to be released into your body and slowly intoxicate your blood.

Do people really do it?

have Yes, according to Eddie Murphy's 23 year old daughter, Bria Murphy, she admitted to seeing models eat cotton balls dipped in juice to stay skinny

Have people died from the cotton ball diet?

Death caused by the cotton ball diet hasn't been on record, but apparently it is possible to die from there being complications from surgery to get rid of the cotton balls if they get stuck in your digestive system.

Does it work?

It does work in the sense that it makes you feel full without consuming calories. But it doesn't work in the sense that you will become happier and healthier if you go on this diet.
This diet is a dangerous way of loosing weight and I highly DON'T recommend it.
