Storyline
Girl
Online On Tour picks up straight after the first book. Penny Porter has given
up her blog, and now is writing only privately for a few friends and one of her
favourite photography teachers. She is the official girlfriend of a rising rock
star Noah Flynn, who is going on a world tour as the opening for a boy-band
called sketch. And Penny gets the opportunity to go with him. Penny’s
parents are convinced that their daughter is ready to tour Europe with her
boyfriend. Despite being on the road with a bunch of wild teenage boy band
members, she doesn’t touch a drop of alcohol or get into any trouble. She is from
Brighton and has the lovely life where her mother dances around the kitchen to Strictly
Come Dancing with Penny’s gay best friend. But while on tour Penny and
her boyfriend Noah face some challenging problems, when someone emails Penny
threats that threaten their relationship making Penny choose between her best
friend or her boyfriend.
My Thoughts
I found this book very
interesting to read because having read the first book; I had more background
information and more of a contextual knowledge and understood this book a lot
more. So, in my opinion I think the second book is better because it has a
larger climax and builds up suspension more gradually, making you unable to put
the book down because you have to find out what happens next.
Zoe Sugg aka Zoella a YouTube
and blogging sensation, wrote both books herself and it has become a major success
as it is a bestselling book with millions of her YouTube subscribers supporting
the books.
On a final note I do recommend
this book if you are into chick flick movies or the blogging world.
